Can Nevada Numbers® keno tickets be purchased through the mail or over the Internet?

Nevada gaming law does not currently allow players to purchase tickets by mail or over the Internet. If there is a change in regulations, we will do our best to ensure that Nevada Numbers® keno is easily available over all approved distribution networks. For now, tickets must be purchased from a licensed casino. For a complete listing of licensed Nevada Numbers® casinos, click here.

How does a Quick Pick work? If I Buy a Quick Pick ticket, can anyone else get those numbers?

By marking the appropriate box on your ticket, or by telling the clerk you want to use Quick Pick, the keno terminal will automatically select five numbers for you. The Quick Pick random number generator does not have any built-in memory. Once a set of numbers is picked in one play, the random number process starts fresh for the next play. The fact that a number is picked in one play has no influence on the chances of it getting picked in following plays. Each set of numbers generated by the Quick Pick feature is unrelated to any other Quick Pick selection. This means that one or more numbers, or even the same set of numbers, can be chosen by the Quick Pick option on more than one play. However, the odds of having a complete set of five Quick Pick numbers on more than one ticket are remote, but not impossible. If the random number generator were restricted to producing each set of numbers only once, the system would not be completely random.
Where is the Nevada Numbers® prize money kept until it is paid out? Is there any chance that something could happen to it before the payout period ends?

It's important to understand what happens to prize money before and after it has been won. Las Vegas Gaming is required by Nevada Gaming regulations to keep enough cash in reserve accounts to fund all jackpots that are on public display. In fact, a statement of all jackpot liabilities along with a copy of bank statements for the reserve accounts are submitted on a regular basis to the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board Corporate Securities Division to ensure full compliance.

If the winner dies before receiving all the payments from a grand prize win, what happens to the rest of the payments?

The prize is the winner's property and is considered part of the estate. The winner may will the prize or leave it in trust to designated heirs. We encourage all winners of large prizes to consult with financial experts to review their options.
How can I get drawing results?

The easiest way is right here on our web site. For results from previous drawings, click here. In the event there is a discrepancy between the numbers posted on this web site and the official winning numbers, the official winning numbers will prevail. Another source for obtaining drawing results is our Results Line (1-800-879-5844).
